Mission Statement
This blog provides space for open discussion about our country and government, with special attention to the judiciary. The intention is to:
- Increase understanding of what is happening in our government
- Share ideas and facts, so we can make and demand better choices. Our government was designed so the citizens control who represent them. A better understanding of how our government works helps facilitate that.

We are discussing topics which impact our lives. There are plenty of sites on the Internet where you can vent frustration with wild disregard. This is not one of those sites.
Attacking an idea is different than attacking a person. Some people post offensive language or verbal images to manipulate and control the conversation. This technique is not appropriate here because it impedes the goal of this site, which is to share ideas and information. Make every effort to be respectful of others as you challenge perspectives.
Opinions vs facts:
Both are important and it is important to know and acknowledge the difference, so please state when you post or comment if you are posting an opinion or verifiable facts. If you are posting facts, please cite where you found the information so people who want to learn more know where to look.
